KAMINI JAIN.Kamini, a former Canadian Olympic Kayaker, the coach of the winning team at the Worlds in the 2007, is looking to repeat that at Prague. So to gain more experience of racing on a river, she brought her team to Fort Langley on Sunday. It was pretty amazing to watch a team of this caliber.

BLING for FORTified: The new team of oldies (55+) scored a bronze in the Seniors' Cup at Alcan! "Way to Go" said Cap'n Chris.
Then they took a silver in the Rec C Final, & that fighting effort almost put a smile on the face of coach Ben. With so many paddlers new to DB racing, they are extra-thrilled at making their first contribution to the Club's trophy cabinet. Bring on Richmond !

ALCAN provided a thrilling spectacle in the Guts or Glory at the end of the day. Come back to this - your site - but check out Glory Congrats to Ben Lee & Lee McGovern for their 4th & 5th overall, too. Staggering.

EXEC Minutes: The minutes of the last meeting have been e-mailed to members.
You should read them - it is your club.

While this event was officially hosted by the sprint kayakers, the help of the many DBers & Voyageurs was essential - Thank you!

DROP IN KAYAKING: The new season of drop-in kayaking lessons have started on Friday nights from 7-8:30pm some weeks or Saturdays from 10 to 11:30am.
The deadline for registration is Wednesday at 6pm prior to the drop-in. Since we more....
