SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Women On Water (WOW) is an up-and-coming dragon boat team in Fort Langley. Working with a coach for the first year in 2004 the team is comprised of a good mix of new and experienced paddlers. We have shown vast improvement in just one year, winning our first competition in June 2004 at the Peachland Dragon Boat Regatta, another in Kelowna 2004, and first place at the Bill Alley Memorial Regatta in Burnaby in 2005. Having tasted victory we are excited about meeting any challenge that comes our way in 2006. We train throughout the winter in the Bedford Channel, so that we are ready for the start of the racing season in March. Although we have been successful at fundraising, we are still in need of your financial assistance.  Just some of the costs for this sport are coaching fees, boat rental, regatta fees and equipment.

  Women On Water will participate in seven regattas this year including local and international events.  As a result, we provide a high degree of visibility to potential sponsors who would like to associate their name with a dynamic, vibrant, and dedicated team.

  There are five levels of sponsorship:

• Coach Level

• Steersperson Level

• Drummer Level

• Paddler Level

• Fan Level

  COACH LEVEL

The top level of sponsorship will be limited to three non-conflicting sponsors. The contribution commitment will be a minimum of $5000 per sponsor. Recognition includes:

  Sponsor logo prominently displayed on team signage at all competitions and events

Sponsor logo prominently displayed on our team’s website

Sponsor recognition in all communication materials (news releases, team brochures, sponsorship announcements, etc…)

Use of team photos, as well as photo opportunities with WOW

Invitation to team events

The opportunity to be our Executive Drummer, and sit in the drummer’s seat for one of our  practices.

The opportunity for your employees to come out for a trial in our dragon boat or voyageur canoes.

Seating in our V.I.P. tent at the Cranberry Festival regatta in Fort Langley.  

STEERSPERSON LEVEL

The number of participants at this second level of sponsorship will not be limited. The contribution commitment will be a minimum donation of $1000.

DRUMMER LEVEL

The contribution commitment for this level is a minimum donation of $500.
